Episode Guide
Each episode of Savor San Diego takes a unique approach in presenting local bounty. For example, “The Yin-Yang of Protein” explores how the food contributions of a small-batch tofu maker and a leading cattle rancher complement one another, and can be cooked together in a flavorful dish inspired by Thai cuisine. In subsequent episodes, Su-Mei Yu variously visits producers, follows products to market, discovers non-profit community gardens and the way these non-profits focus and using food to educate and benefit their neighborhoods. Each episode concludes with an enjoyable and frankly mouth-watering recipe demonstration by Yu.-
