In Jamul, a special kind of tangerine called the Kishu is grown. On this episode of Savor San Diego, we’ll follow the trail of kishu from the groves of Rancho del Sol Farms in Jamul to Specialty Produce, a culinary secret spot frequented by our local chefs and local company that makes it possible for our area’s small growers like Rancho del Sol to get their products out to the market. Then Su-Mei shows viewers how to make a spicy Thai soup called Tomm Yum that gets its tangy flavors from citrus.
